We originally brewed Godmother as a small batch experiment to balance our portfolio of NE Hazy IPAs with something dark and bold. As is tradition here at Lord Hobo, when we commit to something, we go big, really big – the result was a giant and assertive 12% Imperial stout that maintains a deceptive drinkability and smoothness. Godmother is a cherished companion to long dark nights indoors and will help stave off the encroaching cold of winter. A slow sipper, this Imperial Stout opens up the more time you spend with it. Warming and welcoming, like any Godmother should be, this beer will always be there for you.
